“It’s quite alright boys,” I smiled. “Now, come on, let’s go have some breakfast.” Running ahead of them, I slid gracefully down the banister, and tumbled out the back door. The sun was only just beginning to rise; its brilliant crimson and amber rays lit up the vast field with a fiery glow. Birds sang sweet early morning songs, and a cool breeze gently kissed my skin. Stars from last night were saying their last goodbyes as they quietly faded into the morning skies. All of these little things added up to one, much bigger thing: a perfect day.
